From Concept to City Tour
Our team reimagined ASICS’ comfort-first message into a travelling hub that fused digital engagement with physical sensation. At the heart of the experience stood the Comfort Pod - a 4x5m custom-built installation that invited visitors to explore two contrasting comfort narratives: “Run Further” with the cushioned GEL-NIMBUS 27, and “Run Faster” with the responsive NOVABLAST 5. Each side featured tactile textures, immersive displays and interactive storytelling, drawing crowds and guiding them into a deeper product journey.
Gaming Meets Movement
To drive deeper participation, we designed and built a bespoke 3D endless-runner game using full-body motion tracking. Positioned at the rear of the pod, the experience invited players to jump, duck and switch lanes in sync with the comfort categories - all rendered in a stylised world inspired by ASICS’ footwear materials. With responsive controls, upbeat music, and leaderboard scoring, the game transformed passive spectators into sweaty, smiling participants - embodying ASICS’ “sound mind, sound body” philosophy in real time.
Comfort You Can Feel
Beyond the digital, the tour included a dedicated Trial Zone - a branded outdoor space where visitors could try on ASICS shoes and feel the comfort for themselves. Equipped with treadmills, comfort mats and on-site brand ambassadors, the area offered a practical test of the products’ real-world impact. This seamless transition from immersive brand story to physical trial helped anchor the campaign’s message in experience, not just advertising.
Built for the Road
Designed to be modular, durable and transportable, the Comfort Tour activation visited Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester - creating a consistent yet locally resonant experience at each stop. We handled every production detail, from pod build and artwork to game deployment, software QA and logistics. The result: a powerful touring presence that deepened community engagement, boosted brand loyalty, and made ASICS' comfort-led innovation something you could actually step into.
ASICS Feel The Comfort
In summer 2025, we brought ASICS’ “Feel the Comfort” campaign to life with a nationwide activation spanning three UK cities. From strategy to execution, Catalyst delivered the full experience — designing and building the Comfort Pod, creating a motion-controlled game, and producing a high-impact trial zone that turned brand values into real-world movement.
